About the event
This day long workshop celebrates America in art. Master artists are Trumbull, Bierdstadt, Catlin, West,
and more. Students do landscape painting on canvas, portrait art with pastels, famous American bridges
in perspective drawing, and sculpting a horse with clay. Students receive pdf books Teaching American
History through Art and Master Drawing.
Please bring a sack lunch. No peanuts please.
There is a beautiful yard surrounded in horse stables and fields to enjoy a picnic in. We will also provide a bounce house if weather approves.
