About the event
1. Astronomy talk, 45 minutes + 15 minute Q&A, touching on all 12 "Space Systems" standards from Next Generation Science Standards.
2. Observing session, at least 1 hour, weather permitting, to include the Moon, at least one other planet, and several deep-sky objects.
3. If cloudy, indoor art lesson to substitute for observing.
All students to receive PDF of astronomy presentation and book "Teaching Astronomy Through Art."
